The National Franchise Exhibition

The National Franchise Exhibition

Franchising is proving an attractive option for investors as it is a fast growing industry, bucking the trend in the current economic climate. Franchise businesses generated 12.4billion for the UK economy in 2010 and the number of franchises has increased to more than half a million, according to the latest survey by NatWest and the British Franchise Association (bfa).

There is a superb opportunity to find exciting high level franchise investment opportunities at The National Franchise Exhibition, which takes place 30 September to 1 October at the NEC Birmingham.

At the show, there will be a series of free seminars, sponsored by NatWest, focusing on high-level investment franchising. Among the speakers will be Steve Bolton, Founding Partner of Platinum Property Partners who will outline Three simple steps to 100,000 a year passive income within 3-5 years; Paul Smit, Chairman of Cashbrokers who will discuss Can a start up really thrive in a recession? and Danny Hanlon, Chief Operating Officer at Granite Transformations whose seminar is entitled A granite chip investment.

In addition, there will be seminars hosted by the bfa which cover other key franchise-related topics such as an introduction to franchising, growing your own business and executives in franchising.

Visitors can meet around 150 franchise businesses covering sectors from food and drink to home improvement, property and travel. Companies that offer high-level investment opportunities include Cash Brokers, Home Instead Senior Care, McDonald’s, Subway and Signs Express.

As The National Franchise Exhibition is exclusively supported by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and only features companies that meet the Association’s code of ethics, investors can trust the companies exhibiting.
