French Nutricosmetics at Vitafoods Asia

The French nutritional contract-manufacturer Laboratoire PYC will present for the first time in Asia its range of instant nutricosmetics drinks.
The products are in the form of a powder mix to rehydrate and packaged in stick-packs. The formulae contain only active compounds for which clinical studies have been carried out and which were proven to act on skin beauty through oral intake (beauty from within). Four nutricosmetics for four actions were thought (anti-aging, white & pearly glow, hydration and anti-imperfections). Laboratoire PYC also made a point of developing solutions with a fast measurable efficiency since consumers usually prefer noticing first results after a one-month course. All the formulae use natural flavors: apple, mango, peach, grapefruit, and lemon.

Samples and product tasting of the following 4 concepts will be available on stand 122:

- Skin Hydration Beauty Drink: this instant peach-mango drink is made with the French wheat extract Lipowheat®. This ingredient is naturally rich in ceramides, glycolipids and phospholipids and its efficiency was proven through 3 clinical studies involving 135 volunteers. This unique solution has been developed to help hydrating deeply skin from within and to ensure skin cell cohesion for a healthy beautiful skin.

- Pearl My Skin® is the last nutricosmetics innovation from Laboratoire PYC for a pearly and radiant white glow. The formula contains the French pine bark extract Pycnogénol®, a pomegranate extract and Vitamins C & E. “Solutions to get a smooth, flawless, youthful and glowing white skin are very popular in South East Asia. Leading cosmetics brands continually innovate to give women and men the possibility to reach this white skin appeal”, says Aurélie De Schuyteneer, marketing manager. “Laboratoire PYC wanted to develop a natural, non aggressive but efficient solution”. The product efficiency is based on several clinical studies carried out on Pycnogenol® extract. The product is proven to slow down hyperpigmentation and to reduce skin pigmentation intensity. Furthermore, the formula has strong antioxidant properties.

- Skin’Pure® will also be available on stand 122. The formula helps preventing and alleviating skin imperfections. Its efficiency is based on the use of a clinically proven form of lactoferrin.

- Vitafoods Asia will also be the opportunity to present the Collagen Beauty Booster® stick. This anti-aging nutricosmetics contains 5g of Peptan™ fish hydrolyzed collagen. Clinical studies on European and Asian women have proven the anti-aging effect of this ingredient and, especially, its property to prevent the formation of deep wrinkles.

Other collagen-based formulae will also be presented at stand 122: sweet and savory snacks, instant collagen cakes, a maize collagen soup and a chicken-rice collagen soup.
