Launching of FIDAE in the Brazilian market
The involvement of FIDAE 2012 at the LATIN AMERICA AEROSPACE & DEFENCE (LAAD 2011) was a success, according to the Organizing Committee. The fair recently took place in Río de Janeiro, Brazil. The Chilean representatives met the top leaders of the Brazilian aerospace and defence industry and several companies revealed their intention to take part in FIDAE 2012. They stated that FIDAE is an excellent business platform to contact clients and to promote their image and brand in Chile as well as overseas.Turbomeca LATAM signed a contract and confirmed its participation in the next version of FIDAE. The company that produces turbine engines, will exhibit its last portfolio of products at FIDAE.
During LAAD 2011, the FIDAE delegation also held several commercial meetings, like the one with the Associaçao Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança (ABIMDE). The association congregates the Brazilian Defense and Security Industries. The meeting confirms the tight relation between FIDAE and the association, since the fair has really contributed to the development of the Defence and Security enterprises that are part of the association. ABIMDE will also be present at FIDAE 2012.
