CIOE attended the 2012 UFI Open Seminar in Asia

February 23, Shenzhen, China - As a UFI approved event, CIOE was invited to participate in the 2012 UFI Open Seminar in Asia held on Feb. 23 to 24 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Prof. Yang Xiancheng, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CIOE was invited to attend the seminar. Prof. Yang said “as the first option to hold the UFI Open Seminar in mainland China, Shenzhen is getting more and more international recognition in the development of exhibition industry.”, on an interview during the seminar.

Open to professionals from the exhibition industry, the 2012 UFI Open Seminar in Asia is held in mainland China for the first time. With “Asian Exhibitions in the Year of the Dragon” as theme, it is to feature an outlook of the exhibition industry in Asia in 2012.

UFI is the association of trade show organisers, fairground owners, national and international associations of the exhibition industry. A UFI approved event has proven its quality and that of its related services. As the world’s largest optoelectronic exposition, CIOE has become a UFI approved event since 2007. So far, besides CIOE, 9 trade shows in Shenzhen have been approved by UFI.
