FIAGRO 2011

FIAGRO is the International Trade Fair organized in Peru every two years for Food & Drink Technology.
Exhibitors of FIAGRO are Suppliers of Equipment, Supplies and Services for the Food & Drink Industry, who will have the opportunity to meet with new buyers to increase their sales.
Visitors of FIAGRO are Owners, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Technicians and Specialized Personnel of the Food & Drink Manufacturing Plants.
The Peruvian market for these Equipments is very big and competitive, with a large number of brands from local and foreign suppliers.
Peru has a generally open market. There are no significant barriers or limitations on imports and foreign currency is freely exchanged.
Import of Food & Drink Equipment is subject to a 12 percent tariff levied on the CIF value (Cost, Insurance and Freight) of merchandise, plus 18 percent General Sales Tax (IGV).
However, the samples for exhibition in this event can be temporarily imported into Peru without paying import duties or without presenting Bank Drafts.
A Technical Congress will be held during the frame of FIAGRO to present interesting themes and to announce the State-of-the-Art Equipment for the Food & Beverge Industry.
We expect around 6,000 Visitors during the three days event.
This event has been authorized by the Peruvian Ministry for Foreign Commerce and Tourism (MINCETUR), it is sponsored by the National Society Industry (S.N.I) and supported by the Peruvian Trade Fair Association (AFEP).
Furthermore, the magazines Agro Alimentos, Agronegocios del Peru, Red Alimentaria, Vision Industrial, Inform@cion and Industria al Dia, among others sponsor the event and the Strategic Alliance with ExpoAgro of Argentine is also supporting this tradeshow.
The organizer of FIAGRO is Thais Corporation S.A.C., a well known Peruvian company, who is leading the organization of International Trade Fairs in Peru and who is certified by MINCETUR and AFEP
